Ingredients

  • 300–400 g dried fish

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, grated

  • 1–2 red chilli peppers, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • Tropical Heat Sea Salt, to taste

  • Tropical Heat Black Pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Tropical Heat Paprika Powder

  • ½ lemon (for juice)

  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Rinse the dried fish in warm water to remove excess salt and impurities.

  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant and slightly golden.

  4. Add chopped chilli peppers and paprika powder and cook for another minute.

  5. Add the dried fish and cook gently, allowing the flavors to blend.

  6. Season with sea salt and black pepper as needed.

  7. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
